The organiser wishes to thank the anonymous donor of £250 to pay the Council fees and make the race possible. The Hartlepool CC members who assisted in the successful running of the race despite a few early hiccups, Phil Donaghy,  Mike Brent, Ron Best, Colin Armstrong and Gerry Watson for their donations to the prize list, Kay Bate for her operation of the lap board, Colin Armstrong for his assistance in judging, Steve Walton for his volunteering for Commissaire and judging, Martin Bourner for his role as timekeeper, SCA Packaging and TMD Friction for their donation to the lap primes.  A special thanks to the Leader of Hartlepool Council Carl Richardson and the Hartlepool Carnival King  & Queen for their presence and patience in the presentation of prizes.  Also the riders for making this the best race on this circuit so far, one which Brian Cossavella would have been pleased with.
