HARTLEPOOLS BICYCLE CLUB

A general meeting of the above club was held at the Clarence Hotel, Church Street, on Thursday, when a very good muster of members attended.   It was proposed by the secretary that Mr. Thomas Richardson, MP, be re-elected president.   The motion was carried.   The following were elected officers for the year:- Captain, Mr. Fred White;  vice-captain, Mr. E. Hale;  bugler, Mr. J.S. Thompson;  secretary, Mr. G.J. Mason.   The club is in a very flourishing condition, having 17 members.  

 Two members of this club had a run to York last year, viz : - Mr. Fred White and Mr. J.S. Thompson, and four members attended the North of England meet at Harrogate in August last, viz : -  Messrs. G.J. Mason, L. Marshall, J. Steel, and J.S. Thompson.  

 The opening day is fixed for Saturday first (weather permitting) for a run to Stockton.
